Shahrad Milanfar is an experienced mediator who has developed an effective and efficient approach to resolving disputes. This approach allows his mediation clients to be informed and involved in every step of the mediation process. Shahrad has mediated numerous cases involving Personal Injury, Product Liability, Custody, Property Disputes, Commercial issues, Automobile Accidents and General Liability issues. His experience as a mediator and litigation attorney has allowed him to develop a creative, flexible, and highly effective approach needed, for problem solving, during mediation. Shahrad is able to adapt and tailor his mediation services to fit the needs of the parties, their attorneys and their case. This approach, to mediation, is highly effective in helping parties communicate and craft settlement agreements, which address their needs and concerns about their cases.
Shahrad has shared his experience and knowledge with new and aspiring mediators, attorneys, law students, in-house professionals, and college students, by teaching mediation Courses & Seminars.
He serves as a mediator on the Alameda County Superior Court, Santa Clara County Superior Court, and Center for Human Development mediation panels.
Shahrad is also an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University School of Law where he has taught mediation, deposition and trial skills. He has coached Golden Gate’s Championship Trial Teams. He is also an instructor with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) teaching in NITA’s trial and deposition training courses.
